About the post–

POST is recruiting for a Conversion Rate Optimisation - CRO / UX designer to work for our client who is one of the UK’s largest integrated-service agencies.  Based in Harrogate, their 200 strong team are experts in  SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic, Content Marketing, Outreach and Digital PR. Their extensive portfolio of in-house developed intellectual property fuels their ability to blend technical expertise with imagination to generate measurable and impactful results.

They currently have a need for a UX Designer who will be responsible for developing, delivering and reporting on strategic campaigns to improve their clients’ conversion rates, user journeys and user experience. You will be an experienced digital/web specialist with UX design/front end development skills, have a passion for conversion optimisation, a strong strategic aptitude and an ability to think creatively.

You will design CRO campaigns using user-centric design tools/techniques, concept design, scenarios, user requirements/journeys, personas, wireframes and prototypes. Campaigns will be designed to be implemented across multiple platforms and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

What we need from you–

  • Advanced experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Extensive and advanced user of Excel. Use of tools to achieve KPIs such as Google Analytics, heat mapping etc
  • Proven experience as a frontend developer
  • Proven experience with JavaScript and jQuery
  • Proficient developing responsive websites compatible across browsers and devices
  • Familiar with front-end frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap
  • Confidently frontend develop for a number of websites, each on a variety of CMS, built differently and utilising different frameworks
  • Strong attention to detail and able to determine and resolve faults in code, and maintain consistent alignment and styling
  • Have a portfolio or Git Repository containing examples of development work
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Understand and have the ability to implement core design principles
  • Work effectively in a team to deliver results within budget and deadlines
  • Demonstrate a passion for new technologies and techniques
  • Take and understand direction from others
  • Knowledge of the basics of HTML, CSS for UX/UI design.
  • Experience in designing for responsive websites
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to use high levels of initiative to deliver results.
