About the post–

Post Recruitment are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join an extremely successful family run business based in Wetherby.

This role is supporting with the daily procurement and stock control tasks of the department and the monitoring of stock levels and projections. It involves daily communication with suppliers across the world as well as with colleagues throughout the organisation. The role will be mainly office based but will require regular visits to the onsite warehouse for communication with staff and an active part in stock control.

  • Monitoring systems to ensure stock projection is up to date
  • Highlighting needs and creating PO’s for stock replenishment
  • Keeping delivery due dates up to date on systems and communicating with shipping agents and throughout internal departments
  • Tracking progress on orders with factories to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assisting with stock counts administration and adjusting variances on system
  • Quality checking inbound goods
  • Assisting with inbound queries regarding quality or faults
  • Logging actions and performing follow up tasks on Pipedrive (Procurement Supplier management system)
  • Projection administrative duties
  • Prioritising tasks assigned
  • Imputing data into product data sheets
  • Communication with Marketing Manager regarding Product information/ material
  • Admin duties to help Marketing Manager when required

What we need from you–

The ideal candidate for this Procurement Administrator opportunity must have experience providing high standard of administrative support, ideally within a fast-paced and high volume procurement function.

In addition you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong technical and IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, an analytical mind plus strong problem-solving ability
  • Proven interdisciplinary communication skills, both oral and written

This role may be suitable for you if you have a background working as any of the following: Purchasing Administrator, Supply Chain Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator, Logistics Assistant.
