About the post–

POST Recruitment are recruiting for an Online Content Executive to join our client, a successful retail business based in Harrogate. As Content Executive you will be responsible for the daily content management of the Company’s B2C website, Brand websites and eBay store.

  • Coordinate the launch of new products from approval to go live. This includes ensuring product is added to website and eBay, requesting product page copy, images, video and any additional content needed for launch.
  • Work closely with different teams on the launch of web promotions, landing pages, homepage updates and any website content. Create promotion/discount codes in the system.
  • Remove out of stock items from the website/eBay. Responsible for the website stock management.
  • Create the SEO content related to the Company’s products, ensuring the implementation of the best SEO on-site practices.
  • Responsible for the internal search on the Company website.
  • Merchandise the Company website ensuring it reflects/prioritises the best-sellers, stock availability, customer demand and relevance.
  • Responsible for the content plan of the brand website, making sure they are updated when relevant and accurately. Work with the Ecommerce Manager on the creation of the content plan for the brand hubs.
  • Responsible for the brief and co-ordination of the image requirements for product launches.
  • Drive cross and up sales ensuring all products, where possible, have their relevant up-sells set up and optimised.
  • Monitor the customer journey online, identifying any functionality or structure changes that could increase conversions and make it as easy as possible to shop.
  • Maintain all areas of the Company website and eBay to ensure their respective customer service levels are achieved together with the KPI’s defined by the company.
  • Support the Contact Centre Customer Service team by dealing with any website or eBay customer issues, messages and/or feedback received.

  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • An essential requirement of the role is the being able to work flexibly.
  • Highly organised, a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement are also essential.
  • The ability to handle difficult situations in a patient, calm and effective way.
  • The ideal candidate must have previous SEO and Content Coordination experience. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
  • Computer literacy with all MS Office packages is vital.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to analyse data and make recommendations based on the conclusions
