POST Recruitment are working with a leading marketing agency based in the centre of Leeds. Due to the success of the business and continued growth of the team we are recruiting for an Account Manager to join the business.
You will be working with a growing team of experienced retail experts, collaborating together to deliver great ideas and great results for their clients. They help to drive brand and retailer sales by creating, delivering and evaluating customer-focused campaigns, both in-store and online across a host of retail-focused marketing.
You will be the key contact for both the suppliers and retailers. You will work with them to define their retail strategy, building creative shopper marketing plans and advising on retail media plans that will drive significant sales growth.
- Build and own relationships with mid-level category & supplier contacts and be a trusted advisor
- Demonstrate credibility and gravitas to engage with the client at day to day level
- Work effectively with Account Director / SAM and build strong relationships with wider teams including Business Development, Insight and Campaign Management to deliver brilliant end to end experience for customers
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of specific categories and suppliers to enable the delivery of innovative, strategic, ambitious and commercial plans
- Ensure wider office teams are aware of category objectives
- Understand the media plan, business model, current performance and what success looks like in order to hit revenue targets and required media blends
- Use historic campaign performance and robust media planning processes to deliver successful campaigns and challenging briefs where required
- Ensure new insight is generated for each campaign
- Bring together different internal contacts to pioneer solutions to any revenue risks
- Look ahead and make decisions now to avoid future risks or take advantage of opportunities on the horizon
- Update forecasts, flag risks and track progress reporting into the Account Management team
- Deputises for Senior Account Manager when required
