POST– Recruitment are seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper for an independent professional services business based in Leeds City Centre.
This is a part-time role, based in the Leeds City Centre office, working 3 or 4 days a week (flexible to suit the successful candidate).
You'll be joining a very friendly, supportive team of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Sage 50 Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Assisting in completing VAT returns
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the External Accountant of any errors
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the External Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
- Assisting in the development of monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- Preparing employee wages
- Managing employee expense claims
- Helping the External Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- Other admin as required
- Up to £30,000 (full-time equivalent) - Pro Rata to the number of days agreed
- 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays - Pro Rata to the number of days agreed
