Online Marketplace Manager–
About the post–
POST- Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Online Marketplace Manager for an awarding-winning Online Retail Consultancy.
The existing team has a wealth of knowledge within all things eCommerce and this has developed the requirement for a dedicated Online Marketplace Manager, who will become the Lead Consultant for developing relationships with existing and new clients advising on best marketplace practice for their businesses.
This role can be home based with weekly presence in the Leeds office, travel will also be required to clients sites on an ad hoc basis.
This is a relatively unique role, therefore the client is looking for an in-house Online Marketplace Manager now looking to move into a consultancy.
The ideal experience will be:
- Defining and executing an innovative, marketplace strategy in order to build client's revenues on major global online marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy etc
- Sourcing and managing the relationship with key third party suppliers, such as ChannelAdvisor, a best-in-class Marketplace and eCommerce optimisation platform.
- Selecting new product bundles, with full ownership of new product strategies, pricing, promotional activities and shipping.
- Working with Copywriters and Content Managers to develop new SEO-rich content for Amazon and eBay, ensuring the content is on-brand, delivering the correct messages and in-line with the brand communication strategies.
- Using channel analysis and insight to improve marketplace performance and drive sales.
What we need from you–
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a marketplace role
- Significant experience with major European Marketplaces, such as; Amazon, eBay, Allegro, Cdiscount, FarfetchAfound, Asos, Bol, Fruugo, La Redoute, Lyst, Otto, Privalia, Ricardo Group, Spartoo and Zalando.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong MS Excel Skills
- You'll also need great client communication skills
