About the post–

Post Recruitment are recruiting for an Account Manager to join a leading supplier of niche products to the Construction industry.

Their products are available for purchase or hire and are used worldwide by an impressive list of clients, including; Balfour Beatty, Carillion, Kier Group, Morgan Sindall and Galliford Try to name a few.

Your approach as an Account Manager will be consultative and focussed on providing exceptional customer care and support at all times.

In this role you will have ownership of a designated account base combining an exceptional customer experience alongside identifying new sales opportunities.

The role is 90% office based, so the majority of your time would be on the telephone with the ability to meet clients as necessary.


  • Managing a portfolio of existing key accounts.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Dealing with any queries and problems in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensuring that correct information is inputted on the CRM (Gold-Vision) for all employees to view.

What we need from you–

  • We only want to hear from experienced Account Managers or sales professionals with absolute passion and enthusiasm.
  • The ideal candidate will come from an Account Management background within the Plant Hire sector.
  • A full UK drivers licenceand access to a car (it’s 90% office based but you’ll need to visit customers from time to time).
  • You'll have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Our client loves self-starters, so you must be able to deliver results autonomously.
  • Customer Focus; You'll need to be a genuine business partner to our client's customers.
  • You'll have an outstanding track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • You'll be a good communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
  • You'll be confident interpreting data and using this to build customer conversations.
  • Our client is looking for enthusiastic and ambitious professionals.
  • You'll have excellent organisational skills.

What you’ll get–

  • Basic Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 dependant on experience
  • Uncapped Commission
  • Comprehensive induction and on-going training
