About the post–
POST– Recruitment are exclusively working with a leading Retail eCommerce Business based in West Yorkshire are we are seeking a Deputy CFO to join their outstanding Senior Leadership Team.
This is successor role to their current CFO and therefore offers the successful candidate a significant opportunity to take their career to an incredible level.
In addition to managing their established finance team, there will be planned changes to their D2C logistics model and you will support the team as the complexity of their work with HMRC increases due to this.
This role would suit a Head of Finance, or Financial Director with an entrepenureal mindset, but also someone who thrives in the detail in order to maximise the business's financial performance.
You will also ideally be analytically minded and will be able to add value by providing insight on the number to help guide important business decisions.
- Managing, coaching and developing an established Finance Team
- Identifying improvements that will drive financial performance and customer experience
- Managing risk and compliance
- Supporting the Management Accounts team in the production of Monthly Management Accounts
- Statutory Reporting, including HMRC, ONS, Companies House and Audit
- Balance Sheet
- Giving commercial insight
- Deputising for the existing CFO
- Taking on an active role as part of the Senior Leadership Team
- Occasional European Travel may be required
What we need from you–
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Fully Qualified
- Experience in a Senior Role as Head of Finance or Financial Director
- Ideally you will have worked with SAP or an equivalent ERP System
- Significant experience managing, coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Experience in an e-commerce environment, ideally with in Retail would be a huge benefit
